Lyceum, on the record
Lyceum is a sovereign European AI inference provider for open-source models.
Why Europe needs its own AI cloud
Much of the AI that European companies use today comes from a few US platforms. We want them to run it on their own terms: open models they can inspect and move, on GPUs in European data centres.
That's what we run. Teams call open models such as Kimi, GLM, DeepSeek and Qwen through one API that's compatible with OpenAI's, billed per token. Prompts and outputs are processed, not stored, and never used for training. When they need more control, they rent GPU virtual machines by the second or reserve dedicated capacity.
Magnus Grünewald (CEO) and Maximilian Niroomand (CTO) founded Lyceum in 2025.
Ask us how any of it works, especially the parts that sound boring. That's usually where the story is.

About Lyceum, ready to paste
Use it at the end of your article as it is. When space is tight, the short version or the one-line version says the same thing.
Lyceum is a sovereign European AI inference provider for open-source models. They can reserve dedicated inference endpoints, or rent GPU virtual machines by the second to run their own models. The GPUs run in European data centres. Use the wordmark first
The wordmark spells out our name, so it's the one to use wherever it fits.
Switch to the symbol only when the wordmark won't fit or read, such as in a social avatar, an app icon or a favicon. Use one or the other, never both together.
Favicon
Our favicon is the symbol. Browsers show it at 16 px, the one place it goes below its 24 px minimum.
The SVG turns White Chip by itself when the browser uses a dark theme.
Give it room
Keep text, edges and other logos out of the clear space around the logo.
The space grows with the logo, so measure it from the artwork itself. The dashed line marks the edge of the clear space.
Blue Chip, White Chip or Electric
The logo comes in two colours only. Put the Blue Chip version on White Chip, and the White Chip version on Blue Chip or Electric.
On other colours or photos, use whichever version stands out more, over a calm area of the image.
Keep the artwork as it is
Use the files above as they are. Don't redraw, retype or rearrange them, and don't add effects such as shadows or outlines.
Your logo next to ours
Running on Lyceum or working with us on something? Set the two logos side by side like this, or let the builder below do it for you.
- Order
- Your logo goes on the left and our wordmark on the right.
- Separator
- A thin × sits between them, half as tall as our wordmark.
- Spacing
- Leave h, the height of our wordmark, between each logo and the ×.
- Size
- Neither logo should look bigger. A logo shaped like ours matches its height; a squarer one can be up to twice as tall.
- Clear space
- Keep at least h free around the pair.
- Colour
- Use our White Chip wordmark on dark backgrounds and the Blue Chip one on light backgrounds. Your logo keeps its own colours.
